Since #987 the emote wheels order is messed up ruining everyone's muscle memory and it doesn't align anymore with other servers.

Spawn as any character
Open the emote wheel

From looking at everything it just takes the order of however the engine loads the yml files so restoring to that old order is quite tough when we want to add new emotes ...

I've looked into ordering them alphabetically but this doesn't restore the original order.

No idea what we should do here.

I've looked into ordering them alphabetically but this doesn't restore the original order.

No idea what we should do here.

I suggested ordering them alphabetically so they don't get shuffled in the future and we have a somewhat consistent layout, but if you want to restore the previous layout then the only option I can think of right now is adding a new optional field order (or something similar) and sorting by it before sorting alphabetically as a second layer (so even emotes without order field set are still sorted in a consistent way).
Do you want to give this a try or should I do this?

gulps, yeah will do.

Gonna add a optional field, restore the order manually, then order alphabetically for everything unsorted.
