This is a fork from Goob Station, a primary fork from Space Station 14. To prevent people forking Robust Toolbox, a "content" pack is loaded by the client and server. This content pack contains everything needed to play the game on one specific server this is the content pack for Omu Station.

Omu Station strives to be a fork focused on more roleplay-centric gameplay while still focusing on community. We intend to take more mechanics from other forks and build a place where everyone can enjoy and play a unique shift every round.

If you want to host or create content for SS14, go to the Space Station 14 repository as it contains both RobustToolbox and the content pack for development of new content packs and is the base for your fork.

The Goob Station docs site has documentation on GS14's content, engine, game design, and more. It also has lots of resources for new contributors to the project; this website is great for use, and because we are so closely related to Goob Station, we suggest checking them out! They are our upstream and we pull most changes from them.

Contributing

We are happy to accept contributions from anybody. Get in the Discord Server if you want to help. Feel free to check the list of issues that need to be done and anybody can pick them up. Don't be afraid to ask for help either! Whilst the Space Station 14 contribution guidelines is not mandatory for Byrd Station, we recommend reviewing them for best practices.

We are not currently accepting translations of the game on our main repository. If you would like to translate the game into another language consider creating a fork or contributing to a fork.

Building

1. Clone this repo.
2. Run RUN_THIS.py to init submodules and download the engine.
3. Compile the solution.

In the event that the current owner of this git repository (Lukezurg22) violates the staff removal guidelines for the Byrd Station ruleset and fails to respond according to the guidelines set, the signature below affirms that they rescind all rights over any code or assets they have personally created for this repository to any license other than MIT. This does not apply to ported changes they have made. The owner is obligated to deliver this repository to a new owner should they fail to uphold standard ethics in its ownership set before them by the ruleset.
